You can use essential oils to refresh the atmosphere of your space, to neutralize unpleasant odors, for relaxation, wellness and stimulation and to enhance spiritual concentration. In an aromatherapy device, add 3-5 drops of essential oil or a mixture of essential oils in the water (for an area of approximately 10 m2 / 108 sq. ft).
Massage
Massage with essential oils is especially effective for relieving body pains and mental tensions. Dilute the essential oil with some vegetable base oil (almond oil, wheat, jojoba oil, etc.) and apply it with gentle circular movements to the body (8-10 drops of essential oil in 30 ml / 1 fl.oz. base oil).
Bath
After a tiring day, a warm bath to which you add 5-10 drops of essential oil or combination of oils revitalizes and relaxes, relieves stress and treats insomnia.
Compresses
Essential oils soothe joint and muscle pains, migraines and skin irritation. In 0.5 lt. / 17 fl. oz. of water add 3-6 drops of essential oil, soak the compress and apply it to the desired area.
Skincare
You can add essential oils to lotions, emulsions, creams, shampoos and plant base oils, for facial, body and hair care.
Inhalations
Vapor inhalations with essential oils help to improve respiration as well as the cleansing and rejuvenation of the face. In a pot of steaming water, add 3-4 drops of suitable essential oil and breathe in.
Home Hygiene
Dissolve essential oils in water for cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, washbasins and other surfaces of the house. You can also add a few drops to the washing machine and dishwasher for a distinct scent and for neutralizing unpleasant odors.
Cooking
You can give a special flavor to your food, salads, sauces, olive oil, sweets and drinks by adding 1-2 drops of essential oil.
